As an industry practice, Forex market is open from Monday through Friday; Saturdays and Sundays are holiday for forex market whereas crypto trading is available for 24/7. New Year and Christmas are declared holidays.

Prior intimation to our traders and partners will be provided in case of any other holidays.

Margin and Leverage

We offer leverage 1:500 for Standard & Pro account, 1:400 for Premium account and 1:200 for Prime account. This leverage is not applicable for all instruments for that account types it differs on various markets. You can check the product specification page or platform for complete updated details. Margin requirements are updated by the Bankers frequently. In such scenarios margin requirement may change depending on the policy of the Bankers and Market condition with prior notification.

By offering leverage up to 1:500 we open the path to the forex market for Retail traders. Using leverage required only a small initial outlay (margin). The use of leverage can magnify gains but losses can also exceed your initial deposit sometimes. A deposit of $2,000 for a standard account would give you the ability to control up to $1 Million.

Balance is the amount available in the trading account for trading

Swap

We offer long and short swap rates for all of our currency pairs and metals. Swap rates are determined by the overnight interest rate differential between the two currencies involved in the pair and whether the position is a buy ‘long’ or sell ‘short’.

3 days swap refers to the swap charges tripled to compensate for the following weekend, because there’s no trading during the weekend. For some instruments, 3 days swap is charged on Wednesday and for some instruments on Friday. The swap values change frequently you can check the product specification page or platform for full updated details.

Dividend Adjustments on Cash Indices & Stocks

Usually, Cash Indices and Stocks are subject to dividend adjustments. But we provide CFDs on Cash Indices and stocks, hence no positive or negative dividend will be applicable.

Order types

Our trading platform supports different order types – Market order, Limit and Stop order and Trailing stop orders, and you have the freedom to place orders at any time during trading hours. With fractional pip pricing you can trade with tighter spreads and enjoy most accurate quoting possible.

Market order – Trade executed at current market price or next available price immediately.

Limit and stop order - Limit and stop order is the order to buy or sell instruments at a specified price.

Trailing stop - A trailing stop is a modification of a typical stop order that can be set at a defined percentage away from current market price. For a long position, a trader places a trailing stop loss below the current market price. For a short position, a trader places the trailing stop above the current market price.

Long and short positions are the types of positions available. A long position (Long) is formed as a result of buys in anticipation of a price increase, a short position (Short) is the result of the sale of asset, in the anticipation of future price decrease.

Order Policy

We follow fill or kill policy. This execution policy means that an order can be executed only in the specified volume. If the necessary amount of a financial instrument is currently unavailable in the market, the order will not be executed. The required volume can be filled by several offers available on the market at that moment.

Stop-Out Level

A Stop-Out Level is when your Margin Level falls below required percentage i.e. 40% for prime accounts and 30% for other accounts which one or all of your open positions are closed automatically. This liquidation happens because the trading account can no longer support the open positions due to lack of margin.

Gap level execution

If any market gaps occur in a high volatility time, From Friday close to a Sunday opening or in holiday period, Winstone Prime executes all pending limit or stop orders at the first available market price for the corresponding position size.

Hedged capability

Hedging is possible at all account types. In Hedging, you can place sell and buy trade of the same currency pair at the same time. Margin of only one trade whichever is higher will be charged.

Slippage

Slippages are very rare to happen with us. But in the high volatile times, it may happen at those times orders will be executed in the next available price as we follow fill or kill policy to ensure all the trades are placed completely.

Margin Call

A margin call is like a risk warning, it occurs when there is not sufficient amount of money on your trading account to maintain trades. This is also when your floating losses are greater than the minimum margin requirement 60% for prime accounts and 50% for other accounts to hold your positions open.

Negative Balance Protection

Winstone Prime applies NBP (Negative Balance Protection) to all live accounts. If a live account's balance goes negative/minus, Winstone Prime will cover the exceeded loss and fix the balance to zero. You are not at risk of losing funds more than you deposit.

The provision of this policy shall not apply or can be reversed if already applied when the company considers that the client has abused the protection when a client acts in bad faith by pursuing a strategy whereby the client would benefit from such protection whilst holding, himself or in cooperation with another client, other positions with us which benefit the client in the event that the protection is or might be triggered.
